Plainfield District 202's Ira Jones Middle School will be hosting an Internet Safety Night, Wednesday evening August 27th at 6:30 PM. This is in conjuction with State Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office and State Senator Linda Holmes' office. The school is located at 15320 Wallin Drive in Plainfield. Detective Richard Meszaros from the Plainfield Police Department will talk about social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook. There will also be talk about activity in Springfield that focuses on issues such as cyber-bullying.
