For a second straight year, 1340 WJOL is Going Green all May long. We are not planning
on saving the world in one fell swoop or pushing some political agenda. We're just
doing our small part to make the world a better place for our children.

All during May, WJOL will discuss how we can make out planet cleaner.
We'll give you daily tips on how you can make a difference, talk with
experts and conduct recycling days.

Friday May 9th	5:30am-9:00am	Slocum In The Morning at The Will County Building. Collecting used gym shoes.
Saturday May 17th	9:00am-12:00noon	The Outsiders at Manhattan Jr. High School for an electronics collection event.
Thursday May 22nd	4:00pm-6:00pm	Isaac Sancken at Basingers Pharmacy for a Pharmaceutical take-back.
Saturday May 31st	8:00am-10:00am	The Racers Forum at Joliet Jr. College collecting household hazardous waste.
