Edward Hospital Wins Emergency Center Battle
As the fight continues to have a complete Edward Hospital approved for the Village of Plainfield, Edward was able to succeed in clearing the way for a freestanding emergency center at its Plainfield medical campus with Governor Quinn's signing of a key bill. This bill, now signed into law, removes a June 30th deadline that Edward was facing for obtaining proper licensing for the emergency center. With that requirement now removed, Edward will be able to proceed on the planned freestanding emergency center at 127th Street and Van Dyke Road.
